Boys basketball: Jefferson advances to finals of Pickens Holiday Classic

JASPER - The Jefferson boys basketball team advanced to the finals of the Pickens Holiday Classic with 68-63 win over North Paulding in overtime Tuesday night.

The Dragons outscored North Paulding 12-7 in overtime to earn the win.

Jefferson will play Dalton at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday for the title.

Senior Darius Minor sent the game to overtime with a basket with less than 10 seconds left in regulation to tie the game. Minor finished with 32 points to pace the Drgaons.
