The last-minute rush to find that just right gift at a rock bottom price is on.

Many stores across north Georgia opened early and will be closing early today as they usually do on Christmas Eve... ending a four-week run that began "unofficially" the day after Thanksgiving.

Christmas Eve shopping is a tradition for many people just as Black Friday shopping is for others.

And, there's no rest for the weary clerks.

They'll be back bright and early Saturday for their After Christmas sales and the hordes of people who'll be showing up to return or exchange a fit that wasn't just right, spend Christmas money or use a gift card, and browse for a new round of bargains... especially Christmas wrap , ribbons, ornaments, etc.
