Will Schofield... Red Elephant for a day

GAINESVILLE - Hall County Schools Superintendent Will Schofield was sporting a Gainesville High shirt at work today... the result of a friendly wager with his Gainesville counterpart, Merrianne Dyer.

The bet was over the outcome of last Friday's Gainesville High (a city school)-Flowery Branch High (a county) football semi-final. Gainesville won... so Schofield was obligated to wear the Gainesville High shirt all day today.

But while he was having his picture taken, he was offering words of encouragement to the Red Elephants to bring home a state championship from Saturday's game in the Georgia Dome against Peach County.
