GAINESVILLE - A single mother of twin 6-year-old boys is the winner of the first of three cars to be given away this month by AAMCO Transmission in Gainesville.

Heather Long had been nominated by the Golden Chorale Choir and Joy Sunday School Class at Flat Creek Baptist Church.

She was presented the car - a Town and Country - during a live radio broadcast on WDUN NEWS TALK 550 from AAMCO on Brown's Bridge Road Thursday morning.

In the rear of the vehicle were two bicycles for her sons, which were donated by the Hall County Sheriff's Office.

Other co-sponsors are NAPA Auto Parts, LKQ, Mr. Clean Car Wash, Don Kerns Wrecker Service, and Lester's Paint and Body Shop.

The second Cars for Christmas give-away will be held next Thursday and the final the following week on December 17.
