Sale of Crystal Farms should not bring many changes

CHESTNUT MOUNTAIN - Employees of Crystal Farms in Hall County will keep their jobs, even though the company has sold its commercial egg production and processing business.

Anthony Rust is Executive Vice President of Rose Acre Farms in Seymour, Indiana, the company that bought Crystal Farms.

"We need the same people to run it [the company] now that rain it before," said Rust Thursday.

Rust says Rose Acre also owns a facility in Oconee County near Athens, although most of its holdings are in the midwest.
