GAINESVILLE - The Northeast Georgia Medical Center's Love Light tree ceremony returns to the main campus this year.

Exiled to the Lanier Park campus the past couple of years because of construction of the new patient tower, this year's ceremony will be held at the hospital auxiliary's Love Light Garden at the hospital's new main entrance on Downey Boulevard.

The tree lighting is set for 7 p.m. December 7.

Made possible through a gift by The Medical Center Auxiliary, the Auxiliary Love Light Garden provides a permanent home for the Love Light tree. Love Light has been one of many successful fundraisers of The Auxiliary, raising more than $1 million to fund services, such as Hospice of NGMC, for the Medical Center. In addition to the permanent Love Light tree, the Love Light garden features terraced green space, accent lighting and paring on the lawn to host the annual tree lighting ceremony.
