Girls basketball: Simmons paces Mill Creek to win

HOSCHTON -- Moneshia Simmons poured in 23 points and grabbed 17 rebounds to lead Mill Creek to a 47-40 win over Milton Tuesday night.

Mill Creek improved to 1-1 on the seasonw with the win.

Bethel Ogbuehi added 10 points and seven rebounds for the Lady Hawks.

Mill Creek next will travel to Duluth next Tuesday.
