CLEVELAND - The Cabbage Patch Kids celebrated their annual Appalachian Christmas event Saturday at their new home at 300 NOK Drive off Hulsey Road, North of Cleveland. Just before Appalachian Christmas activities a breakfast with Santa was held.

Margaret Mclean, Babyland General Hospital spokeswoman said the old hospital location, located in downtown Cleveland, closed its doors at 1:00 Friday and Babyland General officially opened at the new location north of Cleveland at 9:00 Saturday. The "hospital" staff, she said, spent many hours decorating the new 70,000 sq. ft. home which is located on 100 acres.

The day's events culminated the lighting of the Babyland Christmas tree and a large variety of lights around the complex.
