Lanier knocking on 1073 door

BUFORD - Lake Lanier is now almost two feet above full pool... less than a month after reaching full pool for the first time in four years.

The lake went up another half-a-foot in the past 24 hours, and was at 1072.74 early Thursday.

That's approaching the point where the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has said the lake could start adversely impacting parks and boat ramps, and causing shoreline erosion.
