Miles said Monday he has spoken with Southeastern Conference Commissioner Mike Slive and coordinator of officials Rogers Redding regarding a near-interception by Patrick Peterson late in the ninth-ranked Tigers' 24-15 loss to No. 3 Alabama. Publicly, at least, he seemed satisfied with the response.
He said if he felt differently, he ``would say so.''
SEC spokesman Charles Bloom said the league would not comment on the call, and would communicate with LSU directly.
Alabama made it a two-score game with a field goal on that drive.
Tide coach Nick Saban defended league officials.
