Lake group plans update of economic impact study

BUFORD - The 1071 Coalition, a nonprofit organization advocating for better long-term management of Lake Lanier, plans an update later this month on the economic impact study of the lake which it commissioned which includes two surveys - one for businesses and one for residents.

The update will be given at the group's second annual meeting, open and free to the public.

Dr. Carol Couch, Director of the Environmental Protection Division (EPD) of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources will keynote the meeting. Dr. Couch is expected to discuss Georgiaâ
