New funding for unwed mother support groups in White Co.

CLEVELAND - An agency in White County that has provided help to unwed mothers is closing up shop and distributing its resources to three other agencies that provide similar services.

Dr. Charles White of Cleveland, a member of the board that was set up to oversee the Stephen House, recently presented checks totaling more than $23,000 to The Caring Hands Health Clinic in Cleveland; In His Great Love, Inc., which provides housing and help to women and children in need; and White County Life, a non-profit counseling and pregnancy resource center.

White Says they feel these agencies will fulfill many of their same goals.
