Gainesville area inauguration events

GAINESVILLE - A number of celebrations are planned across northeast Georgia Tuesday to mark the inauguration of Barack Obama.

The Hall County Democratic Party is promoting two of them... a Happy Hour Celebration from 5:00-7:00 at the Daily News Bistro in downtown Gainesville and an Inauguration Day Supper from 6:00-8:00 at St. Paul United Methodist Church on Summit Sreet.

In addition, the Hall County Library System will be screening the ceremonies at noon at the main branch downtown.
