Early morning wreck injures one

GAINESVILLE - The driver of a car that struck a tree at Countrywide Village early today escaped serious injury.
The Hall County Sheriff's Office says the wreck happened about 12:40.
The driver, who was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center, left the scene briefly but soon returned, according to deputies.
