Registration begins for Get Fit Stay Fit 5K

GAINESVILLE - Companies interested in participating in the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce 2009 Get Fit Stay Fit 5K Corporate Challenge Run/Walk are being asked by chamber officials to attend a Team Captains Meeting on January 22 at 3:00 at Riverside Military Academy in the Sandy Beaver Center.

On the meeting agenda is the opportunity to register a team for the April 16 event, preview the new course design, find out what's new for walkers participating this year, hear about the T-Shirt Design Contest and learn about fitness training opportunities.

Last year, over 1,500 people participated in the chamber's first Get Fit Stay Fit 5K Corporate Challenge. This year's event will conclude with "Hall County's largest office party" with live music by The Riverside Band, food, and awards.
