State Trooper Joiner said 56-year-old Nancy Estelle Hobgood was thrown from her car on Cleveland Highway after it collided with a pickup near Deer River Trail.
Hobgood was taken by Life Flight helicopter to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, where she died. The state patrol said the two people in the pickup - Michael A. Mustachio and Cindy Mustachio of Clermont - were treated at Northeast Georgia Medical Center and released.
