Public hearings Thurs. on proposed GSB tax rate

GAINESVILLE - Two more public hearings on the proposed Gainesville school tax increase are on tap Thursday.

One is planned between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The other will be at 5:30 p.m., which will be followed by a called school board meeting at 6 p.m.

Both will be held at school board offices on Oak Street.
