Softball: North Hall blanks East Hall (8/21)

RABBITTOWN -- Megan Rogers struck out 13 batters and allowed just two hits as the North Hall girls softball team shut out East Hall 8-0 in Region 7-AAA Thursday.

The Lady Trojans (2-0) have yet to give up a run, outscoring their opponents 16-0 in two games.

Rogers also had a double and a single with an RBI. Brittany Smith and Chelsea Clever each had two hits and three RBI. Hannah Stevens, Kelsey Gibbs and Danielle Newbern each had one hit for North Hall.

The Lady Trojans next will Banks County at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Commerce Invitational Tournament.
