ATHENS -- University of Georgia sophomore offensive tackle Trinton Sturdivant will require reconstructive surgery on his injured left knee and will be out for the season according to Bulldog head coach Mark Richt.

Sturdivant injured the knee during a scrimmage at Sanford Stadium Monday afternoon. The graduate of Anson High School in Wadesboro, N.C., started all 13 games at left tackle as a true freshman in 2007. The timetable for the surgery is still being determined.
