Gaither has been promoted to an Assistant Vice President and Relationship Manager in the Private and Entrepreneurial Banking Division. Kenneally has been promoted to Accounting Supervisor and Assistant Vice President of The Buckhead Community Bank.
"I am so pleased to announce that Sarah will take on this new position with our bank," said Donna Kain, President of Private and Entrepreneurial Banking.
"Our goal is to continue to provide 'first-class' banking to our customers, and she will maintain our high standard of customer service here in the Private Banking Division."
Originally from Washington, Ga., Gaither earned her Associates Degree in Business from Young Harris College and her Bachelor of Business Administration at Georgia College and State University. Prior to joining the Buckhead Community Bank in 2005, Gaither was a Mortgage Loan Officer with First Choice Financial Corporation.
"I am really looking forward to getting the opportunity to strengthen current client relationships with The Buckhead Community Bank," Gaither said. "My goal is to develop resources and tools that will help the bank continue to grow."
An active member of the community, Gaither has been involved with the Georgia Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for the last two years. She currently lives in Canton with her husband and 2-year-old daughter.
Dawn Kinard, Chief Financial Officer of The Buckhead Community Bank, said that Kenneally's experience in accounting made him "the idea person" for his new position.
"In the last five years he has demonstrated dedication to the bank and an ability to make smart decisions on the bank's behalf," Kinard said. "He has assumed a leadership role within the department and his promotion is well deserved."
Prior to joining Accounting in 2006, Kenneally worked as a teller, as well as a loan operations associate at The Buckhead Community Bank. He also worked as an accounting clerk at ESPNZone and as a teller at SunTrust Bank. His new duties will include the supervision of Accounts Payable and the day to day activities of the department.
Kenneally currently lives in Atlanta with his wife, Stacey.
