Hammonds held nearly a quarter-lap lead before two cautions on Lap 13 bunched the field. Zac Kittle took advantage sticking close to Hammonds before finally passing him on Lap 19. Hammonds, however, would not be denied returning the favor and slipping under Kittle in the final turn to take the win in the 20-lap event. Kittle finished second.
Masters driver Mike Brooks, who was racing at Lanier for the first time in six years, finished third to win the masters race. Will Prance survived an early spin to take fourth and Todd Brooks was fifth.
Trey Ridley started on the pole and survived three cautions, including a six-car wreck on Lap 15, to win the 20-lap Legends semi-pro race. Ridley had built a big lead on the field when the Lap 15 crash brought the field back together. Ridley then held off several challenges by Austin Hill to get the win. Kyle Plott was third, Davey Matthews, who was dead last after a Lap 2 caution, maneuvered his way to a fourth place finish, and Chase Elliott was fifth.
After two years a several near-misses, Rodney Benefield finally got his first-ever win in the Pro Late Model division.
"It feels great to finally get a win," Benefield said. "We've worked hard to get here and I'm just glad to get it done."
Benefield started on the pole and then literally ran away from the pack in leading the entire way in the 40-lap race. Kevin Barrett started fifth but worked his way to a second place finish. Tyler Millwood was third, Shane Sawyer was fourth, and Fredrick Moore was fifth.
Former Sportsman track champion Darin Cronin earned his second win of the year in the open-wheeled modified division holding off Charlie Barrett the second half of the 25-lap race. Cronin led the entire way but was being seriously challenged by Jason Bates when he and Barrett tangled on Lap 12. Bates was then hit head-on by Kevin Barrett Jr. knocking both them out of the race. Only four cars finished as Charlie Barrett could not get around Cronin. Mike Davidson finished third, Jim Golinski was fourth, and Bates was fifth.
D.J. Vanderlay, driving in the No. 46 of Paul Antley, assumed the lead on Lap 8 and then dominated the rest of the 25-lap supertrucks race to get the win. Mark Wilbanks chased Vanderlay the final 17 laps but never challenged for the lead again finishing second. Cohen Motes was third, Joel Townsend fourth, and Butch Gardner was fifth.
Bandit driver Kason Plott led from start-to-finish in taking the 20-lap Bandeleros race. Young Gun driver Cody garland chased Plott the entire way and finished second overall and was the Young Gun winner. Nick Hazelwood finished third and Matthew Johnson was fourth.
In the 15-lap Street Stock race, Mike Childers chased Doug Sexton for eight laps before finally getting by to take yet another win. Childers has won eight of the last nine races in the division. Early on Sexton grabbed the lead and was being challenged by Lanny Ferguson before Ferguson blew an engine on Lap 7. Bobby Weatherly came in third.
Jackie Daniels led from start-to-finish to take the 25-lap Sportsman race. Two early cautions depleted the field down to three cars and Daniels held off Jeff Chadwick down the stretch. Mike Mobley was third, Nick Tassan fourth, and Bryan Jones was fifth.
