Florida picked to win over Auburn

HOOVER, Ala. -- Florida was picked to win the Southeastern Conference championship over Auburn.

The Gators were chosen as the preseason favorite today in balloting by media covering the SEC media days.

The Tigers were picked to win the Western Division over defending national champion LSU.

Florida head coach Urban Meyer and his Gators were picked to win the SEC championship this season by SEC sports writers.
