Murder in Gwinnett Co.

DULUTH - Gwinnett police are investigating a murder near Gwinnett Place Mall Friday night. Authorities say they found a black woman in her 20s in the parking lot on Satellite Boulevard near the mall. She had been shot multiple times.

Police say she was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center, where she died of her injuries.

The case has been ruled a homicide, though the circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown.
