Dogs' Mitchell, Jackets' Hadley to compete for Palmer Cup

ATLANTA - Georgia Tech golfer Chesson Hadley and Georgia's Adam Mitchell will be members of the same team next week as U.S. collegiate golfers take part in the Palmer Cup competition.

Hadley, Mitchell and their teammates, including Alabama's Michael Thompson, depart for Glasgow, Scotland, on Sunday.

The eight-member U.S. team will compete against European players on Thursday and Friday in the Ryder Cup-style event on the 6,903-yard, par-71 Glasgow Golf Club Gailes Links.

Mitchell is a junior from Chattanooga, Tenn. Hadley is a sophomore from Raleigh, N.C.
