OMAHA, Neb. - Georgia will finally get to move from a remote practice back to the main stage at the College World Series -- but not until Saturday.

Georgia, which has been off since beating Stanford 4-3 on Monday, was to play the Cardinal again Friday afternoon, but the game now will be played Saturday because of a rainout Thursday night between North Carolina and LSU.

The Diamond Dogs, 2-0 in the College World Series, can advance to the best-of-three championship round by beating Stanford. Stanford needs two wins against Georgia to advance.

Georgia coach David Perno says his players are "on edge" and "a little caged up" after spending Thursday working out on an area high school field.
