Gas prices rise slightly across Ga.

ATLANTA - Gas prices across Georgia were up slightly overnight.

AAA reports the average statewide price for a gallon of regular climbed one-tenths of a cent to $4.00 a gallon, but remained below the national average of $4.07.

Diesel fuel continues to soar up two-tenths of a penny to nearly $4.78 a gallon. The price for midgrade and premium also rose slightly to $4.30 and $4.49, respectively.

A check of selected places at gasbuddy.com, shows some of the cheapest and the most expensive in the immediate Gainesville area are in Forsyth County... $3.92 and $4.09. In Hall County, the price range is $3.94 to $4.09.
