ATLANTA - Atlanta Falcons reserve safety Daren Stone has been arrested on a drunk-driving charge.

Police say the second-year player was taken into custody just before sunrise on Sunday.

No other information about the traffic stop was immediately available.
Stone was released from the Atlanta City Jail late Sunday afternoon on bonds totaling almost $1,600.

He was a sixth round draft pick in 2007 out of the University of Maine.

Falcons spokesman Reggie Roberts declined comment to The Associated Press on Monday.
