Indians fall in title game to Cartersville

CARTERSVILLE - Stephens County saw its state championship dreams end Saturday in the Class AAA baseball finals.

The Indians fell 13-1 to the Purple Hurricanes in the third and deciding game of their best-of-three series.

Stephens County forced the deciding game after winning Game 2 5-2 on Friday. The Indians lost Game 1 5-3.
