ATLANTA - State lawmakers from the 9th Congressional District - which includes much of northeast Georgia - vote today on a new member of the state DOT board.

The vote will be taken at 3 this afternoon at the State Capitol.

The person who is chosen will replace Mike Evans of Cumming, who resigned several weeks ago to pursue a romantic relationship with DOT Commissioner Gena Abraham.
