Former UGA star Isner has match delayed at French Open

PARIS - Former University of Georgia star John Isner's first-round match at the French open tennis tournament has been interrupted by rain.

Isner, who led the Bulldogs to the NCAA team championship last year, is tied at two sets apiece with Juan Ignacio Chela of Argentina, with the fifth set tied at one game apiece. Chela leads the third game 15-love. The match was stopped becasue of rain and is scheduled to continue tomorrow.

Robbie Ginepri of Marietta is scheduled to play fellow American Donald Young in a first-round match.
