HCC candidates to square-off

GAINESVILLE - The two candidates for the Post 4 seat on the Hall County Commission will discuss the issues in the race at a meet-and-greet Tuesday night.

Incumbent Deborah Mack and the lone challenger for the post, Ashley Bell, both Democrats, are scheduled to appear at 6 p.m. at the St. John's Baptist Church annex on E.E. Butler Parkway.

There is no Republican candidate for the seat, so the race is expected to be decided in the July 15 Democratic Primary.

The event is sponsored by the Hall County Democratic Committee.
