Major accident shuts down Hwy 365 northbound at Hwy 52

LULA - Hall County Dispatch reports a major accident on Highway 365 northbound and Highway 52 near Lula. <br /> <br /> Officials said it is a multiple vehicle accident. They said all lanes were shut down while medical units were on the scene and helicopters life-flighted victims.<br /> <br /> Alex Chalmers is a cook at the Waffle House Restaurant at that intersection and he described the accident scene.<br /> <br /> "They've life-flighted two people in a helicopter that landed in the middle of the expressway," Chambers said. "Two more people went into an ambulance, there were fire trucks and about six cops."<br /> <br /> Authorities have not released the names of those injured or the extent of their injuries at this time.<br /> <br />
