Tennis: No. 5 Lady Trojans rout White County (3/20)

UNDATED - The Class AAA fifth-ranked North Hall girls tennis team kept rolling Thursday night with a 5-0 win over White County in Region 7A-AAA play.

The Lady Trojans (12-0, 8-0 in subregion) have now won 32 straight matches in Region 7-AAA the past two seasons.

North Hall only dropped four games in taking the match.

Carla Reece beat Julie Rosencrantz 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles; Hayley Crowder beat Madeline Wilbanks 8-1 at No. 2 singles; and Mary Beth Brown beat Annie Jarrard 8-1 at No. 3 singles.

In doubles, Lauren Bolton and Courtney Wiley beat Lindsey Patton and Alexander 8-0 at No. 1 and the team of Rachel Langman and Jessica Butts beat Maggie Callahan and Chelsea Cardenas 8-1 at No. 2 doubles.

North Hall next will play host to Gilmer Tuesday at 4 p.m.
