Golf: Dawson sweeps Buford at Chateau Elan (3/12)

BRASELTON - The Dawson golf teams swept a match against Buford Wednesday at Chateau Elan.<br /> <br /> The Lady Tigers beat Buford 92-100 behind senior Kasay Holbrook and junior Charley Whitmire, who shot a 43 and 49, respectively.<br /> <br /> Buford was paced by Abby Johnson with a 49 and Christi Wilson with a 51.<br /> <br /> In the boys match, Dawson County took a 169-187 win. Junior Nick Fitts shot a personal best 37 to lead the Tigers. Junior Matt Christopher had a 41, senior, Tyler Goodwin shot a 45, and senior Taylor Adamson fired a 46 for the Tigers.<br /> <br /> Dawson County will play host to White County and Flowery Branch in a tri-match at Gold Creek Golf Course in Dawsonville on Thursday.
