Duluth -The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that defenseman Chad Denny has been reassigned to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League by the Atlanta Thrashers. <br />

The 6-foot-3 inch defenseman has played in 48 games this season with Gwinnett posting 7 goals and 6 assists for 13 points and has compiled a -5 plus/minus rating with 48 penalty minutes. Denny has tallied three goals in the last 5 games for Gwinnett. <br />
<br />
Denny started the season in Gwinnett, playing in three games and notching an assist. Denny was reassigned to Chicago on November 1 but saw no playing time before being assigned to Gwinnett by the Atlanta Thrashers on November 13. <br />
<br />
The Eskasoni First Nations, Nova Scotia native has notched two multiple point games this season, tallying one goal and one assist in a 5-4 win in Augusta on December 15 and scoring two goals in Gwinnett's 4-3 loss in Charlotte on March 4. <br />
<br />
Denny will be available for the Wolves as they host the Hamilton Bulldogs tonight.<br />

Celebrating its 20th Anniversary as the Premier 'AA' Hockey League in 2007-08, the ECHL began in 1988-89 with five teams in three states and has grown to be a coast-to-coast league that has 25 teams in 17 states and British Columbia in 2007-08. The 25 teams includes the Mississippi (Biloxi) Sea Wolves, who return after missing two seasons in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and the expansion Elmira (N.Y.) Jackals.
