Lockheed machinists approve new contract

MARIETTA - Machinists at the Lockheed -Martin plant in Marietta have approved a new contract, averting a threatened strike .<br />
<br />
The pact got 88 percent of the vote among union members Sunday.<br />
<br />
The agreement raises worker's pay bonuses and is good through 2011.<br />
