ATLANTA -- Charlie Blackmon's looping single brought home Jason Haniger with the game's only run and Georgia Tech remained unbeaten with a 1-0, 10-inning win over Georgia Southern in Atlanta.

Haniger singled to lead off the bottom of the 10th last night and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt by Jeff Rowland. Reliever Kyle Kamppi struck out Patrick Long for the second out of the inning before Blackmon's single got over the head of shortstop Brian Pierce and fell just out of reach of diving left fielder Jonathan King.

Tech inproved to 5-0. Georgia Southern fell to 1-4.

Kamppi (0-1) took the loss for the Eagles, giving up one run on two hits. Brad Rulon (2-0) picked up the win by pitching a scoreless 10th.

Brandon Cumpton, Kevin Jacob, Andrew Robinson and Rulon combined to toss Georgia Tech's third shutout of the season, one more than the Jackets recorded in 2007.
