Tennis: North Hall boys ace Lumpkin County (2/26)

The North Hall boys tennis team got its first victory of the season Tuesday beating Lumpkin County 5-0 in Region 7-AAA action.<br /> <br /> Jim Butts beat Will Garrard 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1 singles while Clayton Nedza whipped Tyler Rusk 6-1, 6-0 at the No. 2 spot. At No. 3 singles Charlie Hortenstein beat Will Passman 8-5.<br /> <br /> In doubles the No. 1 team of Eli LoCicero and Mitch McCray beat Will Gaston and Alex Dege and the No.2 team of Jack Hortenstein and Michael Franze beat Austin Gilreath and Micah Davis.<br /> <br /> The Trojans are now 1-2 overall, 1-0 in subregion play. North Hall plays host to East Hall on Thursday at 4 p.m.
