Gainesville man critically injured in Kentucky wreck

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - An out-of-state wreck has left a Hall County man critically injured.<br /> <br /> Kentucky State Police say Clyde Schmelzer, 59, Gainesville, was injured when his truck left I-65 on Friday, plunged down an embankment, hit a tree and overturned.<br /> <br /> The Bowling Green Daily News says the wreck happened about four miles south of Bowling Green, and that Schmelzer was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
