CLEVELAND - Approximately twenty-two 4-H and FFA students will be participating in the White County 4-H/FFA Livestock Show this Saturday at the new White County Agri-Science Center north of Cleveland.

White County High School Agriculture Instructor Jonathan Stribling says students will be exhibiting about 35 head of dairy heifers, beef heifers, horses and hogs.

He added, "The quality of their projects is a result of months of hard work and dedication. The local show is a community event that highlights their hard work and the end of the show season."

New this year will be a swine auction. In this live auction. The pigs will be sold to participating individuals/businesses wishing to support the students.

Instead of taking delivery of the pigs, the FFA Chapter will take the hogs to market and resale them for the supporter if that is their wish. The show begins at 11:00. There is no charge for admission.

The White County Show is held in conjunction with National Future Farmers of American Week.
