Northside/Dawsonville Imaging opened its doors Jan. 14, bringing medical imaging closer to home and providing families with high-quality imaging services that better serve their needs.
The new Dawsonville location provides digital X-ray and digital mammography services for patients of all ages, with a shorter commute and free parking. Digital Mammography is the latest technology in the fight against breast cancer, with images available immediately. Northside's digital mammography is aided by Computer Aided Detection (CAD), which provides a second set of eyes to the radiologist by flagging areas of potential concern.
Northside Hospital is the community leader in state-of-the-art radiology services, performing more than 400,000 imaging exams annually. Metro Atlanta consumers have ranked Northside's imaging services No. 1 for the past four years with the National Research Corporation's Healthcare Market Guide study.
