HALL COUNTY -- The Chestatee boys basketball won its fourth straight game and set up a showdown with Class AAA No. 10 East Hall Friday after routing Gilmer 88-58 Tuesday night in Region 7A-AAA action at home.

Brandon Jovaag had 21 points to lead the War Eagles (19-5, 7-2 in subregion) who never trailed and led 48-22 at halftime.

Parker Smith scored 15 points and played just one quarter as all 15 players scored for Chestatee.

Chestatee will play host to East hall Friday with the subregion title on the line for both teams. If East Hall wins and North Hall losses the Vikings will win the subregion. If Chestatee wins and North Hall wins out it would create a three-way for the top spot in the subregion, which would have to be decided by coin flips.
