RMA wins Best Marching Unit award

GAINESVILLE - Riverside Military Academy's JROTC squad recently participated in the Atlanta Veteran's Day Parade on Nov. 11. <br /> <br /> More than 40 Riverside JROTC students marched in what is now the second largest Veteran's Day parade in the country. <br /> <br /> Shortly after the parade, it was announced that Riverside had been selected as the recipient of the "Best Marching Unit" JROTC group out of more than 50 different high school groups.<br /> <br /> On Thursday, Parade Day Director Rich Sale visited the Riverside campus to present the Best Marching Unit trophy to the cadet officers and members who marched in the parade.<br /> <br /> For more information or to view photos of this year's parade, visit www.gavetsdayparade.org.
