Lanier up 1 foot in one week

UNDATED - Lake Lanier continues to benefit from last week's rains.

The level early Monday was 1052.01, is exactly 1 foot higher than it was last Monday.

But experts say that unless we get more rains like those of last week, the level is expected to begin receding again just as its did in August after it was bumped up by rains from Tropical Storm Faye.
