ATLANTA - The state Environmental Protection Division (EPD) has slapped a Forsyth County homeowners association with a $15,000 fine.
The action is the result of alleged violations of the state's rules governing Erosion and Sedimentation Control and was taken against the LongLake Subdivision Homeowners Association.
EPD says the violations involved "buffer encroachment/failure to obtain a buffer variance."
The order cites the "amenities area and dam project site" in the subdivision.
