Car plunges down 35-foot embankment

GAINESVILLE - A woman survived virtually unscathed after her car plunged down a steep embankment near Gainesville Friday night.

It happened about 8:00 on Leeland Road.

Hall County sheriff's deputies say the woman reported that her car went down the 35-foot incline when she swerved to miss a deer.

She was able to get out of her car and climb up the embankment to get help.
