GAINESVILLE - Lanier Village Estates in Gainesville was recently visited by top eldercare professionals from the Netherlands as part of their U.S. study tour.

Lanier played host to five distinguished guests from Marga Klompe Foundation in Holland, a conglomerate of housing, care and service organizations. The group met with residents and staff to learn and exchange ideas in order to further their strategy to best meet the needs of the growing senior population in the Netherlands.

Topics of interest during the week-long visit were areas such as optimizing quality of care, home health care services, innovative finance models, branding and marketing. Lanier was among the first stops for the Netherlands group, which also would visit a few other leading senior care providers throughout the Atlanta area.
