DeKalb County Fire and Rescue spokesman Eric Jackson told WSB-TV that a Stone Mountain daycare center and church were among the places burned.
``Simply put, we have an arsonist on the loose that's going around and setting businesses on fire for no apparent reason,'' Jackson said.
The first fire was reported 4 p.m. Sunday, and firefighters were still at the scene of other blazes early Monday morning.
Officials say no injuries were reported.
