BLACKSBURG, Va. - Sean Glennon threw for a touchdown and Macho Harris returned an interception for another as Virginia Tech defeated Duke 14-3 on Saturday.

The win keeps the Hokies (7-4, 4-3 Atlantic Coast Conference) in the running for the Coastal Division title, which they will clinch if they beat Virginia next week.

Glennon's pass to Jarrett Boykin with 38 seconds left before halftime was the first touchdown catch by one of the Hokies' wide receivers this year.

Harris intercepted two passes by Duke's Zack Asack, returning the second one 23 yards for the Hokies' second score with 1:23 remaining in the game.

Nick Maggio had a 39-yard field goal for the Blue Devils (4-7, 1-6) to open the scoring early in the second quarter.

Virginia Tech had 334 yards of offense to 136 for the Blue Devils. Boykin had 67 yards receiving.

Asack, starting in place of the injured Thaddeus Lewis, had only 20 yards passing and was intercepted four times. The Blue Devils were held to six first downs.

Glennon was 12-for-20 for 132 yards and was sacked three times.

The Hokies were plagued by turnovers in the first half. Glennon came into the game midway through the second quarter after starter Tyrod Taylor had two passes intercepted and two fumbles recovered by Duke. Glennon had one pass intercepted in the half.
