Ga. gas prices down another 20 cents

ATLANTA - Georgia motorists are paying less to fill up the gasoline tank.

The average statewide price for a gallon of regular unleaded was $2.09 Monday. AAA Georgia said that's a drop of $1.39 cents over the past month.

The national average price for regular is $2.24 a gallon.

Atlanta has the cheapest metro average for regular at $2.06. The highest prices were found in Columbus at $2.19 a gallon. Many places are selling it for below $2 a gallon, and some have been for several days.
